When MG left the US market in 1980 it left a huge void in affordable 2 seat sports cars. It took almost a decade until Mazda introduced the Miata which spurred production of new roadsters from Fiat, Alfa Romeo, BMW, Mercedes, and yes Rover Group's MGF. Unfortunately we only had access to about half of these new sports cars... Until Now when 25 year old cars become legal to import and own in the USA This 1996 MGF was sold new in Japan and is showing less than 24,000km on its clock. (thats less than 15,000 miles. (Sold as exempt due to age) probably sailed the seas for nearly that much traveling from England, to Japan and finally arriving in Freeport Texas. That said, the car is almost 30 years old so it is not ''like new'' Those that know the MGF will be pleased to know that Suspension spheres have been replaced for factory fresh ride
